What are the meaning of colors ?

Are there certain colors that would prevent you from enjoying yourself in a room ? Babies are know to cry more and for longer periods of time in yellow nurseries. Dark orange tones are know to bring out feelings of jealousy and mistrust. Certain colors set the mood.

Good kitchens are designed to promote an atmosphere that will stimulate your appetite. The color red holds the power to jump start your metabolism. Deep reddish brown tones may remind you of the Fall season and harvest.

Red with orange tones in it is very sensual, sexy, and a good choice for your bedroom. Any room where there will be a lot of action, such as a game room, or work out area.

Gold accents throughout your home means prestige, wealth, being wise, and illuminated.

Bright yellow is a color that promotes energy, joy and being happy. Perhaps you are designing a game room, family room, workout room or a sun room.Yellow is not a very sexy color. Wearing yellow, does not say, ” Yes I’m grown and sexy”. Think for just a moment. There is not much yellow lingerie produced. Nor are there many yellow sports cars. Yellow probably is not the best main color for your master bedroom.
